Bee Hive

This Beehive and bee are locally sourced Basswood and the bee wings are made out of plastic. The bee hive is spun on a wood lathe and the bee is hand carved. The piece is painted with acrylic and stained with water base stain to preserve the piece.

This piece would look great on a shelf, a fire place mantel or dresser. A hook can be inserted in the top to transform it into a hanging piece or an ornament.
